Lacrosse season is coming up soon. In just 1 month the royals will be taking the field trying to defend their title. They’ve been in the state championship 3 seasons in a row and won 2 of them. To see how the team is preparing for the season we sat down with Sophomore Mason Wright.
Q: How do feel going into your sophomore lacrosse season?
A: Going into my sophomore lacrosse season is kind of a little bit of pressure it’s the season that decides varsity and JV. I feel like going into the season it makes me feel like I need to push myself to be in best shape before season starts.
Q: What goals does the team have this year?
A: To have a successful season and come closer as a team. Team bonding is a huge part of success.
Q: How do you feel about playing for the coaches?
A: I feel like all the coaches push everyone to be the greatest they can be. That goes for on and off the field.
Q: What is your favorite part of lacrosse?
A: Becoming a better player and a better man. all the upperclassmen do a great job getting on the underclassmen when something is wrong which is a part of the game. the more we push each other the better team we can and will become
The Royals will start their season on March 18th at home against Carmel.
