January 29, 2021
Devin Dudley is a senior and wrestles varsity.
Q: How has COVID-19 impacted your season and the team’s season?
A: COVID has affected our season this year quite a bit because it took away a lot of opportunities for us to wrestle. We had about two or three tournaments get canceled because of COVID which is huge because we are losing lots of mat time that could be very useful in getting better at the sport and seeing where you are at in the season before it really counts.
Q: What has been the highlight of your high school wrestling career?
A: The highlight of my high school wrestling career has been going to tournaments with the team during the season, as well as off-season, and seeing each other wrestle is a great bonding time to get to meet the incoming freshmen and see what they can do, but also to just get to know more and hang out with your teammates.
Q: What are your goals for the remainder of the season?
A: My goals for the remainder of the season is to make it to state and wrestle at the state tournament and potentially place.
Q: What are your plans after you graduate?
A: My plan for the future is to major in business and also continue my wrestling career even further which is something I would enjoy and love to do.
